Clarence Linden Crabbe II was born February 7, 1908 in Oakland, California. Generally known as "Buster Crabbe" he was also credited in films as Larry Crabbe on occasion. While known primarily as an actor, Crabbe was an accomplished Olympic swimmer earning both bronze and gold medals. With Roles in Tarzan, Buck Rogers, and Flash Gordan, Crabbe solidified himself as a star of Hollywood's golden age.
